Please review the important information provided below as it pertains to your visit. Each of these changes has been made with the well-being of all guests, our Spa Team, and the Community in mind. Should you have any specific questions that are not addressed below, please contact our front desk.
Scheduling Appointments
Scheduling your appointments at Dawson Manor Spa is easy and stress-free. Simply call us at 905-967-0348 and speak with a Spa Coordinator, Book online on our appointments page, or email us to arrange your appointments. You will be asked to provide a credit card when you make your appointment reservation. Please do not email credit card numbers. To verify your credit card information we run a pre-authorization at the time of booking. You may still choose to pay by a different means upon completion of your visit. If we happen to be booked at your preferred time, ask about our 'cancellation list' as our appointment book can be quite fluid and can change on a daily basis. We'll call you back if space opens up! As we are a by appointment only spa, we are unable to accommodate walk-in appointments but, due to our fluid booking schedule, we can sometimes accommodate same-day bookings provided there is time to fill out the required booking and pre-screening forms. Bookings made less than 48 hours before the appointment time will be considered confirmed and are subject to our cancellation policy. Please call or email in advance to see if we have a time that is available. All treatment and service times listed on our website include consultation, assessment and home care recommendations. Please note that children under the age of 13 are not permitted in treatment rooms. Guests age 13-18 are welcome for services provided they have the consent of a guardian/adult. If you are required to be present for, or require an additional person to be present during treatment times, please notify our front desk during the booking process. Thank you for your understanding.
Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice for any cancellation or change in your appointment reservation. We will contact you 3 days prior to your appointment to confirm your services and times. Please confirm or make adjustments to your appointment reservation at this time. Because we block out time for a room and a service provider from our schedule for your appointment, 50% to a possible full payment will be deducted from your pre-authorized credit card on file if we are not given the required notice for any changes to your appointment reservation. We reserve the right to apply a full-service fee for no-shows/same day cancellations. Multiple services or bookings for groups of 3 or more require greater notice for cancellation and a deposit. Due to the demand for appointment times, our 48-hour cancellation policy and our real-time online booking app, we are not able to hold emailed booking requests for any length of time without confirmation. In order to finalize appointment reservations and to avoid disappointment please reply with confirmation as soon as possible that includes a phone number you can be reached at. Appointment reservations will not be held without confirmation by email/phone and secured with a credit card number. Late arrivals may require us to shorten the service time if possible, with full-service charge. If you arrive too late to begin and complete any of the service(s) in the time that was booked we will charge you for the full appointment.
Arrival
Please arrive on time for your appointment if you have already filled out your forms, and proceed inside through our main door that faces the street and proceed upstairs. If you would like to fill out your forms at the spa, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment start time. Guests are asked to arrive unaccompanied unless approved prior to your appointment. We ask that those that are waiting for you please wait outside the building. Late arrival will result in a loss of precious minutes, reducing your overall spa treatment time. Partial services received due to late arrival are still subject to the full service fee.
Payment Options
Dawson Manor Spa Gift Cards, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay are preferred. Exact cash is accepted as well, however please note that our front desk may not be able to make change. Dawson Manor Spa 'Spa Credits' are redeemable on regularly priced services and may be excluded from other promotional offers. We do not accept SpaFinder or WaySpa gift cards/certificates, or any other 3rd party spa gift cards.
Spa Parties and Group Bookings
Dawson Manor Spa is available for your private party, bridal party, corporate event, and office retreat. Larger parties require a deposit and a greater amount of time for cancellations. Please call for details. All group bookings must be done over email. We have found that email is the most reliable way for everyone to get the information they need to plan an amazing day at our spa! Please call the spa with any questions, but we will need an email address to give you availability and booking times. 1 email address per group booking, please. Please call and speak to a spa coordinator with any specific questions you may have.
Special Considerations
Please advise us upon booking of any special considerations you would like our spa professionals to be aware of. Prior to your appointment please fill out our online forms to advise of any medications, prescriptions, allergies, ailments, high blood pressure or pregnancy.
Silent Services
Would you like a 'Silent Service'? Relaxation means different things to different people and if you would prefer that our spa professionals keep conversation to a minimum, let our front desk know. No judgement or explanation required. Our spa professionals will only provide direction required for the service so that you may relax and enjoy your time at our spa.
Gift Cards/eCertificates
Available for purchase in spa, by phone, online, or by email. Gift Cards can be applied towards any of our regularly priced services and products. Please mention your gift card when booking and bring it with you on the day of your service. Our Gift Cards/eCertificates do not expire, are fully transferrable and non-refundable. Certain gift cards may only be used towards specific services and offers as was set out at the time of purchase. Please call for more details. All gift cards purchased prior to March 17th, 2020 and going forward, for specific services or packages, have been or will be converted to a dollar amount gift card. Gift Cards and eCertificates cannot be used towards tips.
Bonus, Specials and Promotional Offers
Throughout the year we offer special bonuses and savings on services and gift card/eCertificate purchases. Please check the terms and conditions of each offer, bonus and gift card/eCertificate prior to booking to ensure that your offer can be used at the time you wish to redeem, and mention these items at the time of booking. Not all offers can be combined or used in conjunction with other offers, promotions or gift card/eCertificate redemption as was set out at the time of purchase. If you would like clarification please feel free to speak with a spa coordinator regarding your specific offer.
Massage Therapy Receipts
We are pleased to provide you with an additional receipt for your RMT massage appointment. Please note that RMT massage appointments paid for with a gift card must clearly state on the receipt that you have paid with a gift card and not include a dollar amount, as per the CMTO. Only RMT's can issue receipts for insurance/benefits. For further information please ask your Therapist or a Spa Coordinator.
Personal Items
You will want to remove all jewellery or personal items for any areas that are being treated.
Dressing and Disrobing
Dress casually. During your treatments, you will be professionally draped at all times. Disposable slippers may be provided.
Speak Up
This is such a simple and important part of your visit! Let us know how we can make your time with us exceptional. If you have any questions, concerns regarding your service, or specific treatment goals you would like to achieve, please speak with your service provider right away to ensure your experience is extraordinary. Don't hesitate to let us know mid-treatment if you'd like to change something as well. Our Spa Professionals will make any adjustments you ask for, simply speak up, and let us know.
Gratuities
The Spa Therapists at Dawson Manor Spa welcome your gratuities as a reflection of the quality of their level of service provided. Your Spa Therapists appreciate tips given either to them directly or added on to your bill when paying by Debit, Visa, or MasterCard. Gift Cards cannot be used for Tips. Please check with your Spa Therapist to see which method is preferred by them. Our front desk team may not be able to provide change if you are choosing to tip in cash. If you require a tip envelope please ask for one at our front desk. Tips are not shared with the business, other team members and 100% of the gratuity you leave goes to your Spa Professional.

We are proud to carry Salve Wellness Solutions products. Salve is a wonderful local company that makes its naturally-derived products in Canada, supports local interests, and is 100% cruelty-free. The products we use are an essential part of your spa experience and a way to maintain results. Our therapists and spa coordinators are highly trained in the home care products associated with your services and will make recommendations so you may continue the enjoyment and skincare benefits of your spa visit at home.

Phones, Electronic Devices, Wi-fi, Additional Guests
Our Spa is a place of relaxation, peace and serenity where each guests’ experience must be considered. As such we ask that you please silence any electronic devices, refrain from loud conversations, and out of respect for other guests we do not allow any photography or recordings of any kind. We do not offer Wi-Fi to guests. Please refrain from bringing anyone else into the spa during your arrival or appointment.
